Carry SCADA data across TETRA infrastructure.
The ACTERA TSM-1112 enables operational data exchange between remote RTUs and central SCADA systems over Motorola DIMETRA TETRA infrastructure. It provides a compact interface between Ethernet-connected field equipment and a TETRA terminal, extending SCADA connectivity to remote sites served by an existing professional radio network.

At the remote site, the RTU connects to the TSM-1112 over Ethernet. The modem connects to the TETRA terminal through an RS-232 interface.
Across the TETRA infrastructure, the communication path reaches the TETRA server at the control center, where it connects over Ethernet with the central SCADA server.
SCADA Data Over TETRA
Provides the interface required to exchange operational data between remote field equipment and a central SCADA environment through Motorola DIMETRA infrastructure.
Industrial Protocol Support
Supports Modbus, DNP3 and IEC 60870-5-104. The required protocol must be specified when ordering.
Automatic Connection Recovery
Built-in connection monitoring supports recovery without user intervention following a power interruption or temporary loss of TETRA coverage.
Voice Remains Available
The connected TETRA terminal remains available for voice communication while operating with the TSM-1112.
Low-Power Operation
Power consumption is 4 W, with a wide 9-48 VDC input range.
Compact Metal Construction
The modem is housed in a compact metal enclosure designed for wall mounting.
Local Status Indication
LED indicators provide visibility of system power, Ethernet activity, serial transmission and reception, and connection status.
Extend SCADA connectivity without removing voice capability from the TETRA terminal.
ACTERA can assess the required protocol, TETRA terminal interface, field-equipment configuration and central SCADA architecture before deployment.
